Rev. Thomas R. Farrow, Jr.
Rev. Thomas R. Farrow, Jr. is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Sharon Farrow. He was born August 25, 1984. Rev. Farrow is known to his family and friends as "TJ". He was raised as a member of Alliance Holiness Church of God in Christ.
While attending New Bern High School he played football and track. He enjoys watching sports, fishing, reading, watching movies playing the guitar and drums.
Rev. Farrow gave his life to the Lord as a freshman in college and started attending New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He has traveled to Singapore, Japan, London, Holland, Kenya, Africa, and India as a missionary.
After dating for four years, Rev. Farrow married the lovely Kembrie Jade Greene on March 6, 2010.
Mrs. Farrow is the second daughter of Dr. Anthony and Valerie Greene. She is a native of Gainesville, Florida, where she was raised as an active member of Abiding Faith Christian Church and attended F. W. Buchholtz High School. Like her husband, she was very active in high school as President of Future Business Leaders of America, member of the National Honor Society, the French Honor Society and varsity Basketball Cheerleading Squad. Mrs. Farrow also has her Braidersí License, licensing her as a natural hair stylist.
Upon completion of high school, she moved to North Carolina to attend UNC at Chapel Hill. During her freshman year, Mrs. Farrow fully committed her life to the Lord and became a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. At New Bethel, she was a member of two choirs, was a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher, and was appointed as a deaconess, the youngest ever in New Bethelís history.
Mrs. Farrow has a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. Rev. Farrow has his Bachelorís in Business Administration from North Carolina Central University, Master of Arts in Ministry from Justice Fellowship School of Theology and is currently working on a Masterís Degree in Mental Health Counseling.
Mrs. Farrow enjoys watching movies, reading and most of all, spending time with family and friends. She was blessed to marry her best friend.
Rev. Farrow is a major asset to First Baptist and we look forward to growing together with the lovely couple in Godís grace.
